Alexander Koch is a curator, his projects deal with the primary questions around what it is to be an artist today, with particular reference to the institution of art and the roles suggested by investigating the broader cultural field. His projects include the development of /D/O/C/K (co-founded with Beatrice von Bismarck in 2001) and the exhibition Kunst Verlassen – Gestures of Disappearance (2002).
