Annette Schindler is a curator known for her exhibitions, publications and projects which have contributed to contemporary discourses such as, feminist approaches, critical art practice, digital cultural production and technoculture. She developed the concept for the new media art space [plug in] in Basel where she is director since 2000. The space focuses on experimental art production with new media. From 1997-2000 she directed the Swiss Institute in New York and from 1992 – 1997 the Kunsthaus Glarus in Switzerland.
