Bettina Steinbrügge is a curator and the artistic director of Halle
für Kunst Lüneburg eV, a “Kunstverein” that was
founded in 1995 as a curatorial platform for innovative forms of contemporary
art and it’s presentation. The main objective of Halle für
Kunst eV is to promote young contemporary art that claims new positions
and intervenes in the national and international discourse. She is also
advisor for the “Künstlerstätte Schloss Bleckede”
an artist- in-residence program run by the government of Lower Saxony
and lecturer in the field of cultural sciences at the University of Lüneburg.
