Born in 1955 Cham, Germany.
Justin Hoffmann is an art critic, curator and musician. He is currently
curator at the Wolfsburg Kunstverein, where he is curating a program of
exhibitions under the title Glamour and Economy. From 1995 he programmed
exhibitions at the Kunstraum in Münich including LowTech (2000) and
Gustav Metzger (1997). Between 1997 and 2000 he was part of the curatorial
team at the Shedhalle in Zürich, where his projects included If i
ruled the world (1997) and There is No Business Like Business (1998) both
projects examining visual and political aspects of Pop Music. Between
2000 and 2001 he organised exhibitions at the Kunsthalle in Vienna where
his projects included the Televisions program. He is a regular contributor
to the Süddeutschen Zeitung, Frieze, Kunstforum international and
Springerin.
