Sönke Gau is a critic and curator. Alongside individual projects he has regularly collaborated with Katharina Schlieben since 2002, initially with their project series “site-seeing” as part of which they produced the exhibition “disneyfizierung der städte?”. The two now co-curate the Shedhalle in Zürich where their first year program is progressing under the title Spectacle, pleasure principle or the carnivalesque ? He regularly writes for catalogues, art publications and magazines including Camera Austria, Springerin and Flashart.
