Simon Lamuniere is an artist and independant curator, well known for his work with new media art and the web. Amongst his work in this field he is curator of the internet sites Mudam.lu and Mixm.org and in 1997 he curated and coordinated the web-site and CD-rom for Catherine David’s Documenta X. From 1996 to 2003 he has curated projects at the Centre pour l’Image Contemporain, St Gervais, in Geneva. He was director of the project Version (from 1994 to 2002), and is now curator of Art|Unlimited, during Art|Basel, (since 2000) and professor of art history at l'Ecole des Beaux-Arts, Geneva.
