Sabine Schaschl-Cooper is an art historian, curator and has been director
of the Kunsthaus Baselland in Muttenz/Basel since 2001 – an upcoming
centre for contemporary art which opened in 1997. As a free-lancer she
curated numerous exhibitions such as “Urban Diaries: Young Swiss
Art” at Alcalà 31, Madrid (2003), “Ainsi de suite 3”
at the CRAC Sète (1998) and was Austrian National Curator for the
3rd Biennial of Montenegro (1998). She writes regularly in publications
on contemporary art and is co-author of the book “Skandal:Kunst”.
